Fertility Support

Fertility Is Rarely Just One Thing.

Fertility challenges are complex, and yet the process of seeking care can often feel like it is reduced to a single test, diagnosis, or treatment protocol.

I work with individuals at every stage of their fertility journey. Whether you're thinking about your future fertility and planning ahead, just beginning to try to conceive, or have been navigating months or years of fertility treatments, including IUI or IVF, we'll take a comprehensive look at your health history, hormones, nutrition, lifestyle, and other factors that may be influencing your fertility.

I have a particular passion for supporting fertility in women who have been diagnosed with PMOS (previously known as PCOS), idiopathic infertility support and in women who have experienced pregnancy loss.

My Approach to Fertility Care

I believe the best fertility care happens when naturopathic and conventional medicine work together. My role is to complement the care you receive from your fertility clinic or medical team—not replace it.

Every fertility patient begins with a detailed assessment and targeted lab work when appropriate. I look beyond the basics to assess hormonal patterns, nutrient status, thyroid health, metabolic markers, and other factors that may provide valuable insight into your fertility journey.

From there, we develop a realistic and individualized plan based on your goals, timeline, and the information we uncover.

Understanding Your Fertility Challenges

Every fertility journey is different. One of the most important steps is understanding what may be contributing to your specific situation.

For some patients, this may involve addressing irregular cycles related to PMOS (previously known as PCOS) or thyroid dysfunction. For others, we may focus on areas such as egg quality, ovulation, progesterone support or nutritional status.

Often, fertility challenges involve multiple contributing factors rather than one single cause. My goal is to help identify what may be influencing your fertility and focus on the areas where we can make meaningful changes.

Miscarriage Risk Screening & Support

Experiencing pregnancy loss can be incredibly difficult, and many patients want to understand whether there are factors that may be contributing.

A comprehensive assessment may include reviewing thyroid health, hormone patterns, nutritional status, metabolic health, and other factors that may influence pregnancy outcomes.

While no approach can eliminate all miscarriage risk, identifying and addressing modifiable factors can provide a stronger foundation for future pregnancy.

Supporting a Healthy Pregnancy

Getting pregnant is an important milestone—but supporting your health throughout pregnancy matters too.

The preconception period provides an opportunity to optimize key areas of health before conception. By identifying nutritional needs, supporting hormone balance, and addressing areas of concern early, we can help create a strong foundation for pregnancy.

Support Alongside Fertility Treatment

For those undergoing IUI or IVF, naturopathic support can play a complementary role throughout treatment.

Many patients seek additional support to better understand their health, address nutritional or lifestyle factors, manage the stress of treatment, and feel more supported throughout the process.

My goal is to work alongside your fertility team while helping you feel informed, prepared, and supported at each stage of your journey.

Treatment May Include:

  • Cycle-aware laboratory testing to better understand hormonal health

  • Metabolic health assessment

  • Miscarriage risk screening when appropriate

  • Nutritional medicine and therapeutic dietary strategies

  • Evidence-based supplementation tailored to your individual needs

  • Lifestyle and stress support

  • Complementary support alongside IUI or IVF treatment

I understand that fertility journeys can be emotionally exhausting and filled with uncertainty. My goal is to help you feel informed, supported, and confident in the decisions you make along the way.

Frequently Asked Questions About Fertility Support

Can naturopathic medicine help with fertility?

Naturopathic medicine can provide complementary support by addressing factors that may influence fertility, including hormonal health, thyroid function, nutrition, metabolic health, and lifestyle factors.

Can I see a naturopath while doing IUI or IVF?

Yes. Many patients work with me alongside their fertility clinic. My role is to complement—not replace—the care you are receiving.

What fertility testing should I consider before trying to conceive?

The most appropriate testing depends on your individual history, symptoms, age, and fertility goals.

Can PMOS (previously known as PCOS) affect fertility?

Yes. PMOS can affect fertility through changes in ovulation, hormones, insulin sensitivity, and metabolic health.

Having PMOS does not mean pregnancy is not possible. Understanding your individual pattern and addressing contributing factors can be an important part of care.

What can I do after experiencing a miscarriage to support my fertility?

A comprehensive assessment may include reviewing thyroid health, hormone patterns, nutritional status, metabolic health, and other factors that may influence pregnancy outcomes.
