Fertility Support
Fertility Is Rarely Just One Thing
Fertility challenges are rarely simple, and yet fertility care can often feel like a narrow, protocol-driven process. Whether you're just beginning to try to conceive, working with a fertility clinic, or recovering from a loss — there are usually layers of your health that haven't been fully explored. I work with individuals experiencing unexplained infertility, irregular or absent cycles, PCOS, thyroid dysfunction, recurrent pregnancy loss, diminished ovarian reserve, and those seeking naturopathic support alongside IUI or IVF. My role is to look at the full picture — your hormones, your nutrition, your stress response — and identify what's being missed and what can be optimized.
My Approach to Fertility Care
I believe the most effective fertility support happens when naturopathic and conventional care work together. I complement a fertility clinic’s care — not compete with it.
Every fertility patient begins with in-depth lab work. I go beyond the basics to assess hormonal patterns, nutrient status, inflammatory markers, and other factors that often go untested but meaningfully impact fertility outcomes and miscarriage risk.
From there, we develop a realistic, targeted plan.
Understanding Your Barriers to Fertility
Every fertility journey is different, and one of the first and most important steps is understanding what barriers may be at play for you specifically. For some patients this means addressing irregular cycles related to PCOS (PMOS) or hypothyroidism. For others it may be egg quality concerns, poor progesterone production, or implantation issues. In many cases we are assessing and treating multiple factors at once — because fertility is rarely driven by a single variable. Through comprehensive lab work and a thorough clinical picture, I work to identify exactly what is standing in the way and build a plan that addresses it directly.
Miscarriage Risk — Screening & Support
For patients who have experienced pregnancy loss, or those identified as higher risk, miscarriage risk reduction is a dedicated focus of care. This begins with thorough screening — looking beyond standard testing to identify hormonal, immunological, nutritional, and thyroid factors that may be contributing to risk. From there, we build a targeted plan to address what we find.
While I never want to overstate what is possible, naturopathic medicine has meaningful tools to offer in this area — and ensuring that all modifiable risk factors have been identified and addressed is an important part of comprehensive fertility care.
Supporting a Healthy Pregnancy — Looking Forward
Getting pregnant is the goal — but so is feeling well throughout your pregnancy. What we do in the preconception period has a meaningful and lasting impact on how you feel once you are pregnant. By identifying and addressing key factors before conception we can lay the groundwork for a healthier, and happier pregnancy.
Support Alongside Fertility Treatment
For those undergoing IUI or IVF, naturopathic support can play a meaningful complementary role — supporting your body through treatment, addressing factors that may affect outcomes, and ensuring you feel as well supported as possible throughout the process.
Treatment May Include:
Comprehensive, cycle-aware lab testing to understand the full hormonal and metabolic picture
Miscarriage risk screening — going beyond standard testing to identify hormonal, immunological, nutritional, and thyroid factors
Nutritional medicine and therapeutic diet protocols — a well-supported diet can play a meaningful role in fertility and pregnancy outcomes
Evidence-based supplementation targeted to your specific lab findings
Thyroid optimization — as thyroid health plays an important role in both fertility and pregnancy outcomes
Lifestyle and stress support — practical strategies that fit your life
Support alongside IUI or IVF — complementary naturopathic care throughout fertility treatment
I also understand that fertility journeys can be emotionally exhausting. My goal is to make sure you feel informed, supported, and confident in every step.
